North American markets await XF pricing announcement
The Jaguar XF has been billed as a replacement for the S-Type but in the US at least, it will be markedly more expensive. The two models available to North American markets will be the 300 horsepower V8 and the supercharged model which boast the same engine as the XKR. The 300 horsepowered V8 is costing around £45,500 in the UK which equates to at least $85,000 US at current exchange rates. The preliminary pricing in the UK is set at £55,000 for the supercharged model which on a current exchange rate conversion equates to in excess of $100,000. However official $US price guidelines haven't been released yet and it wouldn't be of any surprise to see Jaguar make the two North American XF models as price-competitive as possible in order to stimulate demand in the USA/Canada.
