US and Canadian XF enthusiasts await November pricing |
North American Jaguar enthusiasts are awaiting a pricing announcement regarding the XF. There are three model choices:
- Luxury
- Premium Luxury
- Supercharged V8
All the indications are that Jaguar will unveil across-the-range prices in November.
Historically the Canadian car purchaser has always paid a premium over his US counterpart. A typical example of this is the old S-Type. The base price MRSP for the 3. Litre V6 in the US is $48,335 whereas in Canada you are expecting to pay at a manufacturers suggested retail price of $59,950.

The Jaguar XF has been billed as a replacement for the S-Type but in the US at least, it will be markedly more expensive. The two models available to North American markets will be the 300 horsepower V8 and the supercharged model which boast the same engine as the XKR.
The first of the two models will have a Premium Option, so it could be argued that although there are only two types of engine, there are infact 3 varients from which to choose.
